Here’s a little clip of me going over empty hand defense options against a jab, cross combination. In the first option, the jab is parried, followed by an outward deflection of the cross into an upward arm strike. That is then followed by forceful bending of the elbow to force a reaction of my partner towards me so I can trap his head and deliver an elbow strike
The second option involves a gunting (scissor) defense as in the previous videos, followed by various limb disruptions. This time, however, my partner tries to go for a takedown which I prevent by pointing my elbow towards his jaw. I then rotate his head by raising my elbow up to prepare for a throw.
